Founder’s Story

“It wasn’t just a brand. It was a reflection of me.”

You know, Mufasa Man wasn’t something I dreamed up overnight. It’s been a journey—a deeply personal one.

It started years ago, far from home, when I pursued my Master’s in Corporate Communication at Robert Gordon University in Scotland. Life was fast, demanding, but it shaped me. I dabbled in consulting, marketing, and operations. Those years gave me more than just experience—they built a foundation, a mindset. Eventually, I co-founded Fairent, a B2B venture that rents out appliances and furniture. Things were moving, growing. On paper, it all looked right.

But then came 2020. The year the world paused.

And that pause? It made me look inward. Like many others, I was stuck at home, juggling uncertainty and battling stress. And that’s when it began—my beard started growing out in patches. Frustrated, I tried all kinds of grooming products, beard oils from known brands. But nothing really worked. The quality was inconsistent, the ingredients were a mystery, and the packaging felt more like an afterthought than something made for men.

And one day, in that stillness, it hit me.

Why isn’t there a brand that truly caters to men's grooming needs? One that gives them the care, the quality, and the confidence they deserve?

That question became a mission. I started from scratch. I researched tirelessly, travelled, met formulators, and sourced ingredients from across borders because if I was going to build something, it had to be real. It had to be premium, natural, vegan—and most importantly, it had to work.

In 2022, we launched Mufasa Man online with a range of perfumes, skin, and hair products. The vision was crystal clear: Luxury shouldn’t come with a price tag that feels out of reach.
 

Mufasa Man had to stand for something bigger. Bold. Brilliant. Classic. A brand that made a man feel like he could walk into a room and leave a trace of his aura behind, just like a lion.

But Mufasa Man was never just about grooming. It was about power. About feeling good in your own skin.
 

And because I’ve always had a deep love for hockey—the discipline, the grit, the strength it builds—I wanted the brand to give back. So now, we donate 1% of our profits to support underprivileged girls who play hockey. It’s our small way of helping them chase their dreams.

This brand? It’s my story. Born out of frustration. Fuelled by passion. Built with heart.
